Solid Sodium Silicate Plant Liquid

Solid Sodium Silicate Plant Liquid

Details
The Solid Sodium Silicate Plant is a high-efficiency system made for producing both solid and liquid sodium silicate, also called water glass. These products are key raw materials used in detergents, adhesives, construction, ceramics, water treatment, paper, and foundries. The plant is built with strong technology and careful process design, so it gives steady and high-purity output for many uses.

What is Sodium Silicate?

Sodium silicate is made from silica (SiO₂) and sodium oxide (Na₂O). It can be produced in solid form, such as glassy lumps, granules, or powder, or in liquid form. Its use depends on the formula and strength. Common functions include binding, sealing, corrosion resistance, and chemical stabilization.

Production Process

1.Raw Materials

Silica Sand (SiO₂)

Soda Ash (Na₂CO₃) or Caustic Soda (NaOH)

2.Solid Sodium Silicate
The raw materials go into a furnace at 1200–1400°C. They melt and form molten sodium silicate. Then it cools and hardens into glassy lumps, granules, or powder, based on customer needs.

3.Liquid Sodium Silicate
The solid sodium silicate is dissolved in water under pressure and heat in a hydrothermal reactor. The liquid product is clarified, filtered, and stored.

FAQ

1. What is the difference between solid and liquid sodium silicate?
Solid sodium silicate is fused and cooled for bulk use. Liquid sodium silicate is water-dissolved, used in detergents, adhesives, and water treatment.

2. How do you adjust the silica modulus?
The ratio of SiO₂ to Na₂O is changed by adjusting raw material mix and digestion settings. This controls viscosity and performance.

3. Can the plant be built for different capacities?
Yes. The system can be made for small, medium, or large output with modular upgrades.

4. How does the plant handle environmental needs?
It includes heat recovery and low-emission systems. The process meets today's global environmental rules.

5. What industries use your products?
Main users are detergent, paper, construction, foundry, and ceramics industries.

6. Do you provide support after installation?
Yes. We give on-site setup, operator training, remote help, and service to keep the system running well.
