Packaging Systems for Your Detergent Powder

Meibao configures packaging systems for new installations, equipment replacement, pack format changes and capacity expansion. We coordinate powder feeding, packaging machines and downstream conveying according to your production and packaging requirements.

Equipment selection depends on the bag samples, powder characteristics and production requirements. Compatibility with different pack sizes and formats is confirmed during selection.

Packaging Format How It Works
Rollstock Form-Fill-Seal Packaging Uses a roll of packaging film to form, fill and seal bags on the machine.
Premade Bag Packaging Uses preformed bags with suitable bag loading, filling and closing equipment.

Equipment Configured Around Your Packaging Process

Main Packaging Equipment

The functions below describe the main packaging stages. Several functions may be integrated into one machine, depending on the selected packaging format.

Typical detergent powder packaging equipment

Typical packaging equipment arranged around the main packaging stages

Powder Feeding and Buffering

Connects upstream conveying or storage systems to the packaging equipment and provides suitable feeding conditions.

Dosing and Filling

Uses a suitable dosing and filling method based on target net weight, powder characteristics and allowable weight deviation.

Bag Forming or Feeding

Handles rollstock bag forming or premade bag feeding and opening, with manual and automatic operations clearly defined.

Bag Closing

Uses a closing method suited to the bag material, opening design and required closure quality.

Finished Bag Conveying and Optional Equipment

Finished bag conveying is arranged according to the factory layout and downstream operations. Coding, checkweighing and rejection, cartoning, bundling or palletizing equipment can be included as required.

Dust collection at feeding and filling points, together with equipment controls and interlocks, is evaluated according to site conditions.

Available Supply Arrangements

Standalone Packaging Systems

Connected to the customer’s existing finished powder feeding system.

Packaging for Complete Production Lines

Coordinated with spray drying or post-addition lines for output, buffering and control interfaces.

Existing System Upgrades

Evaluated for equipment replacement, pack format changes or additional downstream operations.

The proposal and quotation define the packaging machines, feeding and conveying equipment, optional inspection equipment and downstream packaging equipment. They also identify the site preparations required from the customer and the mechanical, electrical and control interfaces with existing equipment.

Arrangements for installation and commissioning support, operator training, common spare parts and ongoing technical support are confirmed during project discussions.

What Information Helps Us Configure Your Packaging System?

For an initial inquiry, share your net weight per bag, bag photos, required packaging output and existing equipment details. If powder data or machine models are not yet available, we can clarify the remaining information with you.

Powder Characteristics

Bulk density and its variation, particle characteristics, flowability, moisture content and dustiness. Actual powder samples may be needed for evaluation.

Pack Sizes and Materials

Target net weight for each pack size, bag dimensions, bag material or film specifications, and closure requirements. Bag volume is evaluated against the powder’s bulk density.

Required Packaging Output

Required bags per minute, bags per hour or daily packaging quantity for each pack weight, together with daily operating hours.

Format Changeovers

Common pack formats, changeover frequency, and cleaning or product change requirements.

Automation and Staffing

Preferred manual or automatic operation for bag feeding, finished bag handling, cartoning and palletizing.

Site Conditions and Equipment Interfaces

Factory layout, feeding height, upstream and downstream equipment details, and available electricity and compressed air.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can one machine handle different pack weights and bag formats?
Multiple pack sizes can be evaluated during equipment selection. Some changeovers require adjustments or replacement parts. Compatibility with different bag materials and formats needs to be confirmed using bag samples.
How is packaging capacity matched to the production line?
Finished powder output, net weight per bag, actual packaging speed and operating schedules are considered together to determine the number of machines and buffering requirements. Format changeovers and downtime are also included in the assessment.
How are filling accuracy and bag closure quality verified?
Actual detergent powder and packaging materials are used at the agreed packaging speed to verify net weight deviation and closure quality. Checks cover powder trapped in the closure area, closure integrity and powder leakage. Closure strength can also be checked using an agreed method when required.
