Rotary Drying
This page focuses on fertilizer drying systems built around rotary dryers. In a direct-contact rotary dryer, material tumbles and moves through the rotating drum, contacting the drying gas as moisture evaporates.
Meibao determines equipment specifications based on throughput, water evaporation load and material characteristics. Heating arrangements are selected according to whether the material can contact combustion gases, product cleanliness requirements and available energy sources.
Spray drying can be assessed separately for liquids or slurries. Fluidized bed drying or cooling can be considered for granules suitable for fluidization.
