Build a More Competitive Detergent Powder Factory

Investment in a detergent powder factory is not determined only by equipment purchase cost.

Production process, energy consumption, raw material utilization, labor requirements, automation level, product quality and future expansion all influence long-term operating costs and project returns.

Meibao develops each production solution around the actual technical and commercial conditions of the project.

Build a More Competitive Detergent Powder Factory
1

Control Initial Investment

The production process, equipment capacity and automation level are selected according to actual market demand and product positioning, helping avoid unnecessary equipment and excessive initial investment.

2

Reduce Operating Costs

Raw material dosing, hot air generation, spray drying, material conveying and automation can be optimized to reduce energy consumption, material losses and repeated manual handling.

3

Improve Production Stability

Coordinated process design, equipment configuration and control systems support stable continuous operation and consistent product quality.

4

Adapt to Local Energy Conditions

Gas, oil, coal and biomass heating solutions can be evaluated according to local fuel availability, cost, process requirements and environmental conditions.

5

Prepare for Future Expansion

Plant layout, utility capacity and equipment configuration can be planned with future capacity expansion and product upgrades in mind.

6

Reduce Project Coordination

Process design, equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning and technical support can be coordinated within one project system, reducing communication and coordination between multiple suppliers.

Evaluate Project Investment and Operation

Actual project investment and return depend on local raw material prices, energy costs, labor costs, production capacity, product selling price and market positioning.

After receiving relevant project data, Meibao can help evaluate the appropriate production solution, equipment configuration, investment scope and major operating requirements.

Post-Blending Product
Post-Blending Production Line

Complete Spray Drying Detergent Powder Production Line

A complete spray drying line starts from powder and liquid raw materials and produces finished detergent powder through dosing, slurry preparation, spray drying, post-addition, screening and packaging.

This solution is suitable for customers planning to establish a complete detergent powder factory and manufacture their own detergent base powder.

Post-Blending Detergent Powder Production Line

For customers who purchase detergent base powder or already have a stable source of base powder, a post-blending line can be used to complete the final detergent powder production process.

According to the product formula, fragrance, enzymes, colored speckles and other functional ingredients are added to the base powder before blending, screening, storage and packaging.

Depending on production capacity and operating requirements, post-blending systems are mainly configured as continuous blending lines or batch blending lines.

Continuous Post-Blending Detergent Powder Line

For post-blending projects with a capacity of more than 3 tons per hour, a continuous blending system is generally recommended.

Base powder and post-added ingredients are continuously metered and fed at controlled rates, mixed through a continuous blending system, and then transferred to screening, storage and packaging.

Main Advantages
  • Suitable for higher production capacities
  • Continuous material dosing, conveying and blending
  • High production efficiency
  • Easier integration with automatic packaging systems
  • Reduced manual handling for large-volume production
  • Suitable for automation and centralized control
Suitable For
  • Post-blending projects above 3 TPH
  • Medium- and large-scale detergent powder factories
  • Production lines requiring long continuous operating hours
  • Projects with higher requirements for automation and production efficiency
Batch Post-Blending Detergent Powder Line

For post-blending projects with a capacity of less than 3 tons per hour, a batch blending system is generally recommended.

Base powder and post-added ingredients are weighed and added according to the formula for each production batch. After one batch is completed, the system proceeds to the next batch.

Main Advantages
  • Relatively simple equipment configuration
  • Lower initial investment
  • Smaller factory space requirement
  • Flexible changeover between different product formulas
  • Suitable for multiple products and smaller production batches
  • Easier phased expansion as market demand grows
Suitable For
  • Post-blending projects below 3 TPH
  • Small- and medium-scale detergent powder manufacturers
  • Investors entering the detergent powder market
  • Factories producing multiple products in smaller batches
  • Customers seeking to control initial project investment
Note: 3 TPH is mainly used as a general reference when selecting the blending method. For projects close to this capacity, Meibao evaluates the product formula, product variety, daily operating hours, automation requirements and investment plan before recommending a continuous or batch blending system.

Planning a Detergent Powder Factory?

Before the production solution is finalized, investors should normally confirm several key project conditions.

Q1

What type of detergent powder will you produce?

Q2

What production capacity does your target market require?

Q3

Do you already have a detergent formula or product specification?

Q4

Which main raw materials are available locally?

Q5

Will you produce from raw materials or start from detergent base powder?

Q6

If starting from base powder, what post-blending capacity is required?

Q7

What factory space is available?

Q8

Which fuels are available and what do they cost?

Q9

What level of automation is required?

Q10

What packaging sizes will be produced?

Q11

Is future production expansion planned?

Q12

What is the expected investment range?

These conditions directly affect process selection, equipment configuration, factory layout and overall project investment.
