Project Overview
A customer in Nigeria required a wet-process production plant capable of manufacturing more than 30 tons of liquid sodium silicate per day.
The required product specifications, including modulus and concentration, needed to be adjusted according to the customer’s downstream applications. The complete plant also had to be designed around the available raw materials, site conditions, utilities and operating requirements.

1. Raw Material and Product Analysis
Before determining the process configuration, Meibao evaluates the customer’s available quartz sand, caustic soda solution and required finished-product specifications.
The raw material ratio and reaction conditions are then designed according to the required sodium silicate modulus, concentration and intended application.

2. Controlled Reaction System
