Gas-Fired / Oil-Fired Hot Air Furnace — Pakistan
Gas-Fired / Oil-Fired Hot Air Furnace Project in Pakistan
Meibao supplied a gas-fired / oil-fired hot air furnace system for an industrial project in Pakistan.
The system integrates an automatic burner, combustion chamber, secondary-air system, hot-air mixing, temperature control and safety interlock. High-temperature gas generated during combustion is mixed with controlled secondary air to produce process hot air for downstream drying or calcining equipment.

Project Overview
Fuel is delivered to the burner through the fuel-supply pipeline. The burner automatically regulates the combustion process before introducing the fuel and combustion air into the combustion chamber.
The combustion chamber generates high-temperature gas. Secondary air passes through the chamber jacket and mixes with the high-temperature gas to produce the process temperature required by the downstream equipment.
The mixed process hot air can be adjusted between 100°C and 1,000°C before being delivered through the hot-air duct system to the connected dryer or calcining equipment.

Process Description
1. Fuel Supply
Gas or fuel oil is transferred to the burner through the corresponding fuel-supply system. The fuel supply is coordinated with the burner operating conditions.
2. Automatic Burner Regulation
The burner regulates the fuel and combustion-air supply according to the required heat output and process temperature.
This regulation supports coordinated combustion and automatic furnace operation.
3. Combustion Chamber
The fuel burns inside the combustion chamber and generates high-temperature gas. The chamber provides the required space and conditions for the combustion process.
4. Secondary-Air Mixing
Secondary air passes through the combustion-chamber jacket and enters the hot-air mixing section.
The secondary air mixes with the high-temperature combustion gas to adjust the final hot-air temperature.
5. Process Temperature Control
The mixed hot air is controlled within a temperature range of 100–1,000°C. The operating temperature is set according to the requirements of the connected production equipment.
6. Hot-Air Delivery
The adjusted hot air is transferred through the duct system to the downstream dryer, drying chamber, fluidized bed, spray-drying tower or calcining equipment.
7. Automatic Control and Safety Interlock
The control system coordinates burner operation, air supply and hot-air temperature.
The safety interlock system connects the main operating conditions of the fuel supply, burner, air system and temperature-control system.
