The working principle of sodium silicate production line mainly includes raw material preparation, reaction, filtration, concentration and crystallization. ‌

‌Raw material preparation‌: The production of sodium silicate first requires the preparation of raw materials. Silicon ore is usually used through crushing, selection and washing processes to prepare a mixture of silicic acid and silica in a certain proportion. ‌
Reaction process‌: The mixture of silicic acid and silica is added to the drum for calcination to generate silicon dioxide. Then the generated silicon dioxide reacts with sodium hydroxide solution to generate sodium silicate aqueous solution. The reaction equation is: 2NaOH + SiO2 = Na2SiO3 + H2O‌. ‌Filtration‌: The generated sodium silicate aqueous solution is filtered through a filter to remove impurities. ‌Concentration and crystallization‌: The filtered sodium silicate aqueous solution is concentrated to a certain concentration. Then crystallization is carried out to generate solid sodium silicate crystals. The crystallization process needs to be carried out at a certain temperature and pressure to control the crystal morphology and yield. ‌
‌Drying‌: Dry the crystallized sodium silicate to obtain the finished sodium silicate product.
