 Detergent Powder Production Line

Once your product, capacity and site requirements are outlined, the next question is what the supplier should provide. The term "complete detergent powder production line" does not describe the same scope for every project.

Defining that scope early helps buyers understand proposals, coordinate site preparation and compare quotations on a consistent basis. Begin with the production boundaries, then review the equipment, supporting systems and services needed within them.

1. Define the Starting Point and Finished Output

Explain what enters the proposed line: individual raw materials, purchased base powder or material supplied by an existing production section.

Next, identify where the supplier's scope should end. Is the required output bulk finished powder, filled and sealed bags, or packaged products transferred to a designated collection point?

These boundaries help establish which operations are included and where the line must connect with customer-provided equipment or facilities.

2. Confirm the Production Sections Required

Review the selected process section by section. Depending on the project, this may involve raw material handling, dosing, mixing, drying, post-addition, screening, conveying and packaging.

The equipment list should reflect the actual process. A spray drying tower belongs in the scope where spray drying is required; it is not a standard requirement for every detergent powder plant.

Ask the supplier to distinguish included equipment, optional items and exclusions. Where existing machinery will remain in use, identify the connections between old and new sections. This makes the proposed configuration easier to review.

3. Check Supporting Systems and Utility Interfaces

Clarify whether the relevant heat supply, dust collection and electrical control systems are included, supplied separately or provided by the customer.

For water, electricity and compressed air, distinguish the line's requirements from the facilities that supply them. Agree where each connection will be made and who provides the connections between the site supply and the equipment.

These details help both parties understand the installation requirements. Supporting systems and utility connections should not be assumed to be included simply because a quotation describes a complete line.

4. Separate Equipment Supply from Site Work

Confirm responsibilities for the building, civil foundations, steel structures, site piping, cabling and equipment installation. Some work may be supplied under the equipment package, while other work may be arranged locally.

Installation guidance also needs to be distinguished from carrying out installation. Clarify who provides the installation crew, lifting equipment and necessary site facilities.

Meibao's scope should be confirmed in the project proposal and contract. Clear responsibilities help coordinate equipment arrival with the readiness of the customer's site.

5. Define Commissioning, Training and Acceptance Arrangements

Discuss what commissioning support and operator training are included, together with the conditions required before work begins. These may include completed installation, available utilities, suitable raw materials and the customer's operating personnel.

Agree on the checks, operating conditions and records needed for acceptance. Any performance criteria should relate to the specific project and agreed scope.
