The Meibao Liquid Sodium Silicate Production Line (also called Water Glass Plant) adopts the wet process, in which caustic soda solution reacts with quartz sand under pressure to produce clear and transparent liquid sodium silicate.

In the wet process, quartz sand and caustic soda react inside a pressure reaction kettle. The process uses steam heating to promote dissolution and reaction. The resulting liquid sodium silicate passes through filtration and clarification stages to ensure transparency and purity.
