Meibao provides a turnkey sodium silicate production line for making liquid glass. The system can use the dry process (for solid sodium silicate with modulus above 3.0) or the wet process (for liquid sodium silicate with modulus below 2.5). The choice depends on the product you need.

The wet process plant is built for industries that want energy-saving, low-cost, and automated production. Using quartz sand and caustic soda, the system makes high-purity sodium silicate in a reaction kettle under controlled heat and pressure.

In the wet process, quartz sand and caustic soda are measured and sent into the reaction kettle. They react under high temperature and pressure. The liquid sodium silicate is then filtered and cooled. It can be used directly or further concentrated. This method needs less energy, costs less to set up than the dry process, and makes fewer emissions.
