Process Description
Slurry Preparation – Liquid caustic soda and quartz sand are mixed into slurry.
Reaction – Slurry goes into a reactor where steam starts the reaction under controlled heat and pressure.
Settling and Filtering – The reacted liquid is moved to a settling tank, impurities sink, and a press filter makes the solution clear.
Product Collection – The purified liquid sodium silicate is sent to storage tanks for use or packaging.
