Product Overview
This sodium silicate (water glass) production line uses the wet process. Quartz sand and caustic soda are the main raw materials. The system produces liquid sodium silicate with a modulus below 2.5. The plant includes full engineering design, equipment supply, installation, and commissioning support.
Production Process Flow
The wet process line has four main steps:
1.Raw Material Batching – Quartz sand and caustic soda are measured in the right ratio.
2.Thermal Reaction – The mixture reacts in a pressurized reactor or kettle.
3.Intermediate Mixing – The liquid is stabilized and made uniform.
4.Filtration and Collection – Impurities are removed and the finished liquid sodium silicate is collected.
